Seasonal Temperature Outlook: May-July 2019 (MJJ)

For MJJ 2019, above-normal temperature is favoured over most parts of Southeast Asia
For MJJ 2019, all three models – NCEP CFSv2, ECMWF, and UK Met Office (Figures 1-3) favour above-normal temperature conditions over most parts of the region except for the southern part of the region, where near-to-above normal temperature is predicted.
The models’ skill for temperature is generally good for the MJJ season, apart from the eastern Maritime Continent.
