S2S prediction is relatively at its early stage of development and processes involved are not yet fully understood by forecast producers at a country level (i.e., NMHS such as PAGASA) and utilization by the application communities (local stakeholders). This activity will help capacitate PAGASA technical staff in understanding S2S predictability, data access and producing real-time subseasonal forecasts (week 2, week 3-4 forecast), which can eventually be translated into local context to provide meaningful and generate appropriate response for the general public,  disaster managers, farmers and fisherfolks.
